Functionalities

Signature / Co-signature

DeskSignerPDF allows signing files on PDF format, separately or in batch mode. Therefore, all that is needed is an X.509v3 digital certificate, ICP-Brasil or not, installed in the Windows® repository, on disk (HD, floppy, CD, DVD or other removable media) or on external devices such as tokens and smart cards. To sign a PDF document, it is not necessary to have installed in your computer the Adobe® Acrobat.

At the moment of each signature, DeskSignerPDF validates the digital certificate used, checking whether it has been expired or revoked. To do so, DeskSignerPDF uses the List of Revoked Certificates (CRL) of the Certificate Authority (CA) that issued the respective digital certificate.

Co-signing is allowed on files that were previously signed and there is no limit to the quantity of signatures.

Operations in Batch Mode

DeskSignerPDF allows the signature of files to be done in batch mode. A batch can be assembled from a set of files individually selected or can be represented by a directory in a disk (local or remote).

File Verification

Documents signed by DeskSignerPDF can be validated and visualized directly by Adobe® Reader, that is, it is not necessary to purchase any special software for this functionality. Adobe® Reader can be downloaded for free through the Internet, directly from the Adobe® website.

When opening a PDF document signed by DeskSignerPDF, Adobe® Reader automatically identifies that the document has been signed, allowing the visualization of all the elements of each signature present in the document.

DeskSignerPDF is compatible with all X.509v3 digital certificates, including e-CPF and e-CNPJ, official digital documents of the Brazilian Secretariat of Federal Revenue (SRF).

Image Resources

DeskSignerPDF incorporates a series of resources so it is possible to configure how the signatures should be shown in the document. A digital signature in a PDF document can be graphically represented by an image, a text or both. It is possible to determine the size of the image, its position in the document and in which pages of the document it should be inserted.

DeskSignerPDF also allows you to select the image that will be used to graphically represent the signature. This image can be obtained from any image file or from a device that captures image, installed in you computer, compatible with driver Twain.

DeskSignerPDF also makes available a series of resources to handle these images.
